Top of the Rock
J'avoue... Je ne suis pas peu fière de ces photos. La vue du Top of The Rock est à mon avis à préférer si on ne peut faire qu'un des 2 observatoires (Empire State Building et Top of the Rock), justement parce qu'elle inclue le majestueux Empire State Building ET la totalité de Central Park. Cette fois-ci, je suis montée de nuit, et je n'ai pas été déçue du voyage !! Un plaisir pour les yeux et pour l'appareil (quand on arrive à se frayer un chemin entre les gens qui pensent qu'ils ont acheté la vue, même problème qu'à l'Empire State Building). Mais qu'est-ce que ça vaut le coup !
Le Top of the Rock est l'observatoire au sommet du Rockefeller Center, entrée sur la 50e rue entre la 5e et la 6e avenue. Le Rockefeller Center est assez célèbre, notamment pour sa fontaine Prométhée, pour sa patinoire en hiver, et pour l'observatoire. C'est également là que se trouve le gigantesque sapin de Noël que tout le monde connaît (quand c'est le moment).

I admit... I'm pretty proud of these photos. The view from the Top of the Rock is, in my opinion, the one to choose if you can only do one of the 2 observatory decks (Empire State Building and Top of the Rock), because it includes the majestic Empire State Building AND all of Central Park. This time, i went up by night, and was i happy i did !! A treat to the eyes and camera (when you manage to grab a spot in between the people that think they bought the view, same situation as at the Empire State Building). But it is SO worth it !
The top of the Rock is the observation deck on top of the Rockefeller center, entrance on 50th between 5th and 6th avenues. The Rockefeller Center is quite famous, for its Prometheus fountain, its ice-skating rink in winter and the observation deck. It's also where there is the ginormous Christmas tree everyone knows (when it's time).
